I also remember past Thanksgiving celebrations with my family at home and with students in various classrooms. I've always linked curriculum in my classroom to the current season or holiday. Around Thanksgiving, we study American history, exploration, settlement, religions, native American cultures and early technology. At our holiday parties, we play seasonal themed games.
